About Me
The very clear through line in my career is food.
Starting in college, I studied communications and writing, with a focus on food policy and agriculture. Between classes, I wrote "farm-to-table" articles via Spoon University and over the summers, I sought out farming and restaurant work while interning at Hunger Free America. Post grad, after working the MAD Symposium in Copenhagen in 2018, I decided to pursue hospitality more seriously, working my way up to managerial positions and specializing in natural wine. Presently, I manage a retail sake and wine shop within the Sunday Hospitality Group called Bin Bin Sake, where I am the buyer and curator, strategic event planner, educator and marketer. I am a freelance food and beverage writer on the side, and just self-published my zine called Sake & Snacks.
